From Santa Barbara and San Diego, California; living in Helsinki, Finland and sometimes Santa Barbara; working toward a PhD in ethnomusicology at the University of California, Santa Barbara; tentative title of dissertation is "The Sound of a Thousand Lakes: Rock Music and Symbolism in Finnish Culture"; Currently teaching course called "Popular Music and Culture in America" at the University of California, Santa Barbara; recorded the two songs posted above in Helsinki; both songs written by Matthew John Dorman; "High Times" is produced by Finnish novelist/singer and songwriter Kauko Röyhkä. "East Side of Town" is a demo version recorded live...planning on rerecording it the near future along with several other songs.
