About Me

Music was my first love and it will be my last!

In the age of 8 I had my first experience as a singer on stage and I've never lost that overwhelming feeling.
Throughout the years I took every possibility to express myself on stage in different choirs and bands and I knew music would be a very big part of my life. And I was right!

Since 1998 I'm working as a professional lead and background vocalist and I've enjoyed being a part of live and studio projects with bands like Lacrimosa, Kickhunter, Skeletor, Die Toten Ärzte, as well as doing commercial jingles.

I also enjoyed working with producer and Lacrimosa guitarist JP Genkel. You can hear the result of this collaboration in my player. music by JP Genkel, lyrics by Melanie Black aka Melanie Kirschke

I make a living being on stage with a variety of bands, which has taught me a lot about using my voice in different styles and being flexible and basically ready for anything.
So, if you need a vocalist for your project, you`re free to contact me!

This year I'm also looking forward to take care of my own project ”Rosemarys Baby“.
