1991
Keyboarder Michael Hass and guitarist Falk Drews founded RAD KICK. The name was chosen while Falk stepped thru the soundnames of a guitar effect (Alesis Quadraverb). And why it's also a name of a skateboard-figure, they chose it.
1993
First official (instrumental) demo was released on september 10th, including the following songs: Precious time, Silent Gutter, Stream of Fire and Stairs of a Cathedral. The tape was called "Nuthin' less to loose".
1994
Falk fell back into his original field on drums where he came from and the RAD KICK sound got more and more heavy. Beate joined the line up and more songs were written like Omniscience, Different Way, Vamp and many more.
1995
RAD KICK released their first demo-CD which originally was a session recording. "63.47 minutes of a recording session afternoon".
1996
Thomas Lensch joined RAD KICK.
1997
Uwe Wessel (ex-GAMMA RAY) joined RAD KICK. The band played on several festivals and solo gigs. "Peace of mind" was written and the recordings for the next demo CD started.
1998
The demo CD "Peace of mind" was released on may, 9th.
2002
Rad Kick featured on several radio shows worldwide. Playing live on different shows and festivals.
2005
New songs were written like Wait for me, Leave it, Look around, The fear...
2009
After some line-up changes and drummer rehearsals - RAD KICK is complete again with Jesko(drums), Falk (Guitar) and Tommy (Bass). Now we..re writing and recording a lot of new songs!
