About Me

Born in Dreghorn, Ayrshire. Guitarist, singer/songwriter Alan Frew has enjoyed success with Scottish bands The Kytes and Southbeach performing on national T.V and Radio and playing support to a various number of acts including Mel C ( with Jill Jackson ), Texas, Paolo Nutini, and The Delays . Having played at several venues across Scotland including King Tuts, QM, Kirkmichael Guitar Festival and Celtic Park( special olympics opening with Southbeach ) Alan crossed the Atlantic on March 2007 to play at 'The Living Room' in New York with fellow musician Simone Welsh and in the summer teamed up with former Speedway frontwoman Jill Jackson to perform songs from her new acoustic album. Gigs with Jill so far have included the 12bar and the Mean Fiddler in London.
