Oh NO you haven't!.. OH YES I HAVE!!!!

About Me

Linda Hughes is an accomplished keyboardist/singer/songwriter (and sometimes guitarist) born and raised in Ayrshire. She found her passion for music at a very young age, through both her grandfather William (who played the "moothie" or harmonica to her when she was a child!) and her father, a brilliant guitarist who loves nothing better than playing The Shadows. Playing in bands from the tender age of 15, Linda ended up on the NC Rock Music course at Perth College from 1990-1991. It was there she finally grew out of pop music and moved onto bigger and better raw sounding bands dominating the world of rock!! Linda worked her way around various office jobs and at Crossriggs Veterinary Clinic before she began pining for music again. It was a chance meeting with Mr Ed McFarlane at a Musician's Union gig that directed her to the North Glasgow College Music & Performance course and she graduated with her HND (including merits!!!) in 2002. Linda returned to her beloved city of Perth to join the 2nd year of the BA Music Degree and finally completed the BA Commercial Music degree back home in sunny old Ayrshire! At present, Linda is working with Cumnock Area Musical Production Society, performing in musicals/pantomimes and private functions. Currently having a break from live band work, Linda hopes to find a decent bunch of musicians to perform live with across Scotland, England and Europe.
