About Me

About Cold Sweat:
Cold Sweat are a Thin Lizzy tribute band based in Ayrshire. Thin Lizzy were one of the best and most respected hard rock acts in the late 70's and early 80's. Fronted by the enigmatic genius Phil Lynott they recorded many of rock's best loved songs, such as 'Jailbreak', 'The Boys Are Back In Town' and 'Still In Love With You'.
As Cold Sweat our aim is to recreate Thin Lizzy's live sound as perfectly as possible. The members are Davy Grant (vocals), Peter Murphy (guitar), Jim Murphy (guitar), Chris Killen (drums) and Richey Hewat (bass). While Chris and Richey provide that famous tight rhythm sound Peter and Jim's harmonised guitars mirror perfectly Brian Robertson and Scott Goram's legendary performances from the mid 70's.
Cold Sweats current live show is an hour long run through of the 'Live & Dangerous' album, regarded by many rock fans as the finest live album ever recorded. Check back here regularly for more news on gigs, to listen to songs and watch videos of Cold Sweat in action.
