Title track "Inside" was chosen Top 5 finalist in two international songwriting competitions. ~ Song "Jezebel" was picked Top 5 finalist 8th annual Great American Song Contest.
Bio : Lesley Young has been performing for over twenty five years. Highlites of her music career include; solo and band shows at Mariposa on the streetâ€™s ART BEAT Festival, Cabbagetown Festival, Parkdale Then and Now Festival, and Nuit Blanche Festival. She has collaborated with a choreographer for performances at Dancemakers and written compositions for the Festival of Independent dance (FIDA). She's taken her music to cafes and clubs all over Ontario, Cape Breton, NS and in the UK. Lesley toured the Netherlands spring 2008. This fall Lesley will be Presented by The Amsterdam Songwriters Guild, and Den Haag Songwriters Guild. She and executive producer, duo partner guitar/sidemen, John McKay-Clements will be touring throughout the Netherlands October 2008. Lesley Young is a member of SOCAN and The Guild of International Songwriters and Composers.

Influences: Some of them are up on my top friends list. I love and have been influenced by the acoustic guitar styles of Joan Armatrading, Ralph Towner, Nick Drake, Jimmy Page and influences of singer/songwriters Suzanne Vega, Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones, Sheryl Crow, Sara McLaughlan and bands like The Beatles, The Guess Who, Radiohead, The Pretty Things, and Jeff Buckley to name a few.
