British folk musician and sixties legend Donovan has teamed up with French icon Zouzou for a charming, bilingual duet.
Donovan and Zouzou met 40 years ago through their common friends Brian Jones and George Harrison.
True to his reputation as a humanist troubadour, Donovan Leitch once again put his extraordinary talents to serve the cause of cross-border music and friendship.
As an actress and singer, Zouzou has been a cult figure since the French sixties and Swinging London. The video includes footage from the 1972 film by Eric Rohmer, Chloe in the afternoon.
Their unmistakable voices mingle on the beautiful track Cherchez l' Erreur (Spot the mistake) which will be included on Donovan's upcoming album.
This is not the work of a major label, but a true collaboration based on friendship and love. Donovan is currently busy working alongside David Lynch on opening a school in Scotland to teach youth the benefits of Transcendental Meditation, and Zouzou is working on releasing an album with all her friends from the 60s and 70s.
