The ceremony will be on March 10th, 2008 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City, NY, USA! The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum will be showing the 3 to 4 hour event on Vh1 Classic simulcast television screens and the big screen at the rock hall in Cleveland, Ohio. Details: Billy Joel to induct John Mellencamp into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on behalf of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation at their induction ceremony on March 10, 2008, at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. John Mellencamp, will be inducted by 1999 inductee Billy Joel (The Piano Man!) The live event was seen in person at the Rock Hall in Cleveland, Ohio on March 10th, 2008.
