About Great Songs of the Sky
Great Songs of the Sky originated as a tribute concert to the music of Donovan. Conceived and musically arranged by Lucy D'Mot, this concert was originally staged in August and September 2005 in a joint production by American River College in Sacramento CA and the Fair Oaks Theatre Festival.
In July 2007, Great Songs of the Sky morphed into a non-profit organization dedicated to healing throught the arts, as well as continuing the Donovan Tribute Concert.

This tribute concert includes 12-16 vocalists and a five piece band performing 35+ of Donovan's songs. In August of 2006, the show traveled to the International Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The concert theme loosely follows the four seasons of the year as they parallel the cycle of life. Rave reviews in both California and abroad.
Performances will begin in again in August 2008 and continue indefinitely utumn throughout Northern California and THE WORLD!
OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
Great Songs of the Sky is dedicated to original performing and other arts as it pertains to healing in both scientific and metaphysical realms, and especially as it relates to color, sound, movement and humor.
