Day of the Eagle is a Sacramento area Robin Trower tribute band.
When Trower left Procul Harum to a more guitar oriented trio format, he found his niche. He pulled together blues, rock guitar with a nod to Hendix, strong songwriting with catchy guitar hooks, to create a unique style.
Our goal is to faithfully recreate Robin Trower's music and present it in an exciting live format. Not to seem immodest, we've already been enthusiastically told that we're achieving this.
Looks like we found our new drummer! Now we can get our momentum going again!

We just had a great time last week playing at Louie's in Rancho Cordova! Got lots of good feedback from from everybody, and gigs are starting to line up! We'll keep you posted! Meanwhile, check out the pics!
Name Change!
We've changed the name of the band! We are no longer calling ourselves Bridge of Sighs, we will now be known as Day of the Eagle
Why? Long story short: There is an LA band called Bridge of Sighs that is putting out a CD and expanding their market, and we don't want to our fans to be confused if they show up at one of their gigs and wonder "Hey! Where's that smokin' Trower Tribute from Sacramento we were expecting!" 'Nuff said.
