A 1965 interview from Denmark with the Rolling Stones. The Rolling Stones on Dean Martin's TV show, 1964 - "I Just Want To Make Love To You" The Rolling Stones and Cathy McGowan doing a lip-sync to Sonny & Cher's "I Got You Babe" from "Ready Steady Go!" British TV show, 1965 "Kana Kapila" - a song from The Cousins (aka The Continental Cousins), from Belgium, 1961. I am assuming this is from a TV show. There is another video of them doing this song on YouTube that has better close-ups, but the tape has multiple breaks in it, and their singing is more out of sync with the music. Crazy, man, crazy! The Campbell Brothers during a church service, date and place unknown. Video from YouTube says "Sacred Steel." Steel guitar don't get much better than this! The Campbell Brothers during the same church service as the previous one, date and place unknown. Waylon Jennings - "Ramblin' Man." This was taken from a show that Jack Clement made in '75 but never aired. Waylon picked an extra long instrumental ending. WOO HOO!!! I sure do miss ya, Hoss. Ol' Waylon singing "Waymore's Blues" to his wife Jessi Colter and trying to explain to her how it was written and that he doesn't really know what it's about. She playfully argues with him about how to write a concept song. I love his comment "poetic license" after he sings the lines: "I got a good woman, what's the matter with me... that makes me want to love every woman I see..." Waylon Jennings - "Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way?" This has got some good footage of Ralph Mooney playing his steel. Waylon Jennings - "This Time" from "Don Kirshner's Rock Concert" TV show, 1974. Donovan - "Catch The Wind" from ca. 1964 or 1965. Doo Wop music by The Five Discs singing "Never Let You Go." The movie is from 1938, the James Stewart/Jean Arthur comedy, "You Can't Take It With You". The man responsible for me loving music so much today... Little Richard - "Rip It Up" from a live concert recorded for British TV. Them (featuring Van Morrison) - "Baby Please Don't Go" from a 1964 "Ready Steady Go!" British TV show. The Dovells (with lead singer Len Barry) - "Bristol Stomp" - 1961. The Monks rockin' out to "Monk Chant" from a live German TV performance in 1965. How can you not want to jump up and dance to that crazy beat? IT'S MONK TIME!!! From "Shindig" - The Rolling Stones doing "Down The Road Apiece," "Little Red Rooster" and Howlin' Wolf doing "How Many More Years."
