BOWLING FOR SOUP DOES AUSTRALIA
Here at MilftonRock, we love our music and we love it happy! You know, the kind of music that puts a smile on your face no matter what kind of mood you are in, lyrics that make you laugh, hooks that stick in your head like glue and a chorus that will have you singing in the shower for weeks! For nearly a decade now there has been one band that has delivered all the above and more. That band is those multi-million selling pop punk Texans from Denton County….Bowling For Soup. The band kindly allowed MilftonRock ACCESS ALL AREAS to their 2 shows at the Big Top, Sydney and Festival Hall, Melbourne. What you are about to read below is our account of our time with BFS, part interview, part diary....so sit back and “get happyâ€! (Click here for the interview)
H.E.A.T
“In a time not long ago great musicians crafted great music out of nothing. Today the guys in H.E.A.T follow their footsteps, having one foot in the past and the other one in the future. Hailing from Sweden, H.E.A.T was born in January of 2007 when two different bands with the same singer merged...The vision was to create something unique that would move people and help them understand what it’s all about. About havin fun and live your dreams and to always make the present a past that you can be proud of in the future to come.†Guitarist Eric Rivers was kind enough to catch up with us and answer our hard hitting questions..... Pete Loran of Trixter
A few weeks ago we caught up with Steve Brown, Trixter co-founder and guitarist and quizzed him about the rumours of a Trixter reunion in 2008. His response....wait until March 4th and all shall be revealed. Wait we did, and on March 4th the world learned that the original Trixter line-up was back for a 2008 assualt, which at this stage includes the release of the long awaited “Live In Japan†CD, an appearance at the Rocklahoma Festival and the promise of more dates to come. With much thanks to Steve Brown for hooking us up, we now have a follow up interview with Trixter vocalist Pete Loran. (Click here for the interview)

With “Stereo Fallout†Steve has released his best work EVER and with Trixter about to blast back onto the scene, 2008 sure is going to be one hell of a year......
