Try the BEST MySpace Editor and MySpace Backgrounds at MySpace Toolbox !The nucleus of Awful Truth was formed in the sun blasted urban wasteland of Tucson, Arizona in the summer of 2005, when local burnout Damon Pillsbury recruited longtime friends David Stine and James Roop to form a band.Immediately, the trio began writing songs, taking their name from a 1937 musical starring Carey Grant. After several attempts to find the right drummer, the band settled on hardhitting stickman Nick Freytag in the summer of 2007. Then in late 2007 Damon was sent off to prison for the noble cause of headbutting a police officer. Then his brother Aaron stepped in on guitar and Awful Truth didn't miss a beat.Known for their energetic live show, satirical songwriting, and offensive lyrics - Awful Truth is coming to fuck up a venue or house party near you...All songs on our profile were recorded at Next Door Studios here in town, they're on our top friends, so hit up Oliver over there and get some tracks laid down...
