Heroes:
Hard to find today -- we have lots of icons but few heros.
I respect anyone who has really followed the voice of their heart and their spirit no matter what culture or society has said (carefully eliminating those who have appeared to do it for political or personal gain!). Some personal mentors have changed my world. A gentleman named Warren Barrett who introduced me to my sprituality even before I was ready to understand, and the spiritual family who have been through all this with me again and again. And the first musician to rock my world. . .My musical heros have amazed me, encouraged me, inspired me, educated me, entertained me and sometimes terrified me. What more could a musician, or anyone, do for another human being? They are:
Sam Bush,
Jim Brock,
Byron House,
John Santa,
Robert Kirkland,
Jamie Hoover,
Wyzard, and, preeminently, Don Dixon (who is the cause of all this!) and to you I say Bless Your Heart! THANK YOU, ALL!!
