Wow-long time coming!
Years back I wrote a song called "Skinny"-and recorded it with my brothers-The Spongetones. It was first released on a pop compilation "Yellow Pills". Later this was included on our 5th record "Textural Drone Thing" on Black Vinyl Records (1995). I just recently found out it has been used on ABC "World News Now" since April of last year (2006) every time the show airs-Monday through Friday! Better late-than never, I always say.... We always liked the tune then-but it's so great when someone else notices now! Listen for it in a section called "The Skinny" next time your staying up late-the show airs on ABC from 2:00AM until 3:30AM. Drink plenty of coffee!!.......buy it at cdbaby.com or at iTunes !
