drifter were born on January, 27th 2001. Formed with elements of another bands, they joined to make a sincere and serious project. Since then, they are constructing drifter´s sound, suffering musical mutations along the way.We intend to show our music, depending on our state of mind, not forgetting our musical influences, thus giving original and ambitious route to our project, rowing against Portugal's musical panorama, full of common places and clichés of what is financially viable. We don't tag our music; we only say that it is alternative.drifter started as a project behind a concept: to make music that it's sounds and it's textures could take place in the listener's mind.... creating a visual interpretation... creating a place where you can be inside your mind....
