BIO DE FINELINES

Une paire rythmique influencée par les Red Hot Chili Peppers et Rage Against the Machine, un guitariste nourri au larsen et autres distortions et une chanteuse survitaminée, Finelines est issu de la rencontre de quatre musiciens tous venus de formations différentes et qui partagent la même passion pour la musique. C’est sur scène que le groupe constitué de Marion, Mickey, Nico et Gauthier prend toute son ampleur. Finelines, après avoir participé à la tournée Eurorock, a enregistré quelques titres avec Stéphane Buriez, leader de Loudblast. L'EP est dispo depuis le 1er Janvier 2008. Le groupe continue à composer et enchaîne les concerts...

BIO IN ENGLISH

Finelines was born in 2003 when four friends from the same high school decided to gather so as to play music. Each one of them had already had experiences in what's about playing music in a band and they decided to get together in order to play rock...a quite energic rock!

Finelines started playing in Calais, most of the time in pubs, and at some special events such as the music fair day and the « Festival Solidaire ».

In April 2006, the band participated at a music contest at Gérard-Philipe, Calais' Cultural Center. Finelines worked a lot during the rehearsals the preceding weeks so as to be well prepared and do its best on stage. Obviously, it was worth it...the band ended in first position and won the prize: three days with a great french producer, Stéphane Buriez, so as to record a few songs!

In August, the band participated at the Eurorock Tour. Finelines hit the road for about two weeks in europe with four other bands from different countries: Germany, Holand, Lithuania and the UK. This was an amazing experience for the four members of Finelines who learned a lot during this period!

Back to France, the band decided to work on its first CD demo. The CD is now available since January 1st, 2008...
