Apart from being a drummer I am the lyricist of our band, and I am working on a book, too. I have been into writing since I was only 11 years old, and that will probably always be a very important thing for me. There are so many things in this world that make me curious, and it is very important to me to capture feelings and thoughts in order to create lyrics for songs and other kinds of writing as well.

Music, music, music! Besides being a drummer I am the lyricist of my band, Mental Milestone, and I am working on a book too.I am also very interested in cars. At least once a year I take my car to the longest race track in the world - Nürburgring in Germany, which is more than 20 km long. It is very challenging and great fun to drive there.

Dream Theater, Steve Vai, Billy Sheehan, Van Halen, Billy Cobham, Simon Phillips, Toto, Dennis Chambers, Gregg Bisonette, Alex Van Halen, Bill Bruford, Phil Collins, Neil Peart, Jeff Porcaro - just to mention some of them. There are so many great players out there, but I will especially mention Ian Paice of Deep Purple along with Danish drummer Søren Berlev. Those two guys were some of the main reasons for me starting to play the drums. I listened to Machine Head over and over again - soon I was listening to every record of Deep Purple and IP has been a huge inspiration to me ever since. But also the records of Gasolin with Søren Berlev really meant a lot to me.
As for Dream Theater they are second to none when it comes to composing complex music where all the parts fit together i a very natural way. All the players of the band playing with such accuracy and dynamics. I really love the combination of this kind of music and the melodic approach they have added to it.
