Started raving at the age of 15 @ places like telepathy @ wax Rolla Express (those dat kno double brap!! dem dat dont...bwoy u missed out!!) I could go on mentioning every venue n promotion but that could get long but heres a few... Warrior Charge, Fivers, TENNERs (eh hm) Desire, Jungle Fever, Jungle Sound Clash, Innersense, SW1 Club, VOODOO MAGIC!! 4am starter, Orange, Helta Skelta, One Nation, Island Ilford! Kool Skool, Thunder N Joy, like I said before I started listing I could go on n on n on but we'll bring it to a halt, Im guessing you get the picture....nurtured on jungle dnb from day dot. Anyway, it came as no surprise hearin all the beats of the time n buyin most of them that I gradually started taking the dj angle with lets just say pre-historic equipment. (no wages at school n the paper round could barely cover the weed lol)......could go on but we'll skip a chunk....... finally got those technics at bout 17 and began to master the technique of mixing, which was a fun road now I look back.
My first radio appearances were on various small stations around the endz. Also doing a few guest slots here and there. In around 1995/96 I started to host a show on Londons Rude Fm 104.3. In 1998 I started teaching myself how to produce on various music production programmes but jus used these on the basis of getting to the the basics of music production.
In 99 I moved to Brighton, became a dad, and took a lil time out while still doing guest slots here and there and appearing on Brightons legal radio station Surf fm. 2000 and I appeared at Telepathy for the millennium celebration as well as various other clubs on the south coast plus guest appearances on Interface internet radio.
2001 and a move back to London was on the cards and on returning hosted a primetime show on Fridays 8-10 on Origin fm. 2002 saw various unreleased plates being aired n produced by myself. My Alisha keys fallin rmx proved a smash with the listeners but my over critical ear deemed it ever to stay an exclusive among da man dem. In addition, around early 2k I hosted a show on Subliminal Muzik but regularly appeared on quite a few ELC special shows.
ELC meaning East London Connection comprises of Shaydee, Terra, Psyco, Sly, A Class, Teejay, Pacso, and Extreme. Basically we are all like minded known each other fe years and have the desire and ambition to move in a positive direction so watch out for all dem names yeh!! Around 2002/3 I took a back seat from radio doing mainly only guest appearances while I focussed mainly on production taking my skills to that next plateau.
