The year is 2008 and Stalkin’ Season has officially begun! Knightstalker, born and bred in the south-west of Germany’s capital Berlin, got in touch with rap music for the first time in the mid-nineties. Fascinated by the rhymes, flows and beats of east- and west coast artists alike, he soon fell in love with the art form called hiphop. A couple of years later, motivated by his people, he decided to “get his grind on†and started penning bars on his own. And although German Rap was and is on a steady rise he made the decision to write his lyrics strictly in English because he feels more comfortable in expressing his self this way. By growing up in the borough of Neukölln, Knightstalker learned at an early age what it means to live in a borough with a high crime and unemployment rate. Besides dealing with those topics he adds his own little twist of modern day battle rap and storytelling to the mix. In the summer of 2007 Stalker dropped his “My Mic Is†EP as a teaser for the “Stalkin Season†album which followed in April 2008. On stage he is usually joined by Fubi (backup mc) and DJ Hike. Right now Knightstalker is working with several producers and emcees from in- and outside the country to keep supplying ya’ll with dope stuff in the future.
