Ego Trippin' was formed in 1999 by three artists (Ian, Matt and Embee) all respected producers in there own right. Their productions stems back as far as 1994. Matt and Embee started there careers as some of the Original DJ’s from the infamous Essex pirate radio station Cyndicut FM playing along side Daz (undercover agent) Andy C and Red One amongst others...The duo then went on to make tracks together as Indica’s Rhythm with release on the mighty Splash Records. As well as both doing their own production on the classic jungle label juice. Ian started off his career designing and djing big rigs in London clubs which led him in to producing tracks for ministry of sounds FSUK label and remixes for the likes of beats international. All good friends from way back they decided to join forces and form ego trippin' with releases on established labels such as juice and splash, DJ Hypes Frontline / global Thang and Andy C’s Frequency.

Now days its just Matt and Ian taking ego trippin' into the future of drum and bass recently singed to long time friend and legend that is Mickey Finn on his own imprint Finn People and from this there massive hit in da mood they have started the there own brand new label 3rd angle.
