Inspired by his next-door neighbour DJ Leader 1 who was a UK Hip Hop Dj / Producer and produced many Uk Hip Hop Anthems such as “ Im Riffin “ By Mc Duke and many other Music of Life Productions.
Chef's Musical influences ranged from Pop Soul Funk Disco Electro,Uk Hip Hop, Ragaa, House Techno and US Garage early US Hip Hop names like
HERBIE HANCOCK,AL-NAAFIYSH,RUN DMC,ERIC B RAKIM,PUBLIC ENEMY,BIZMARKIE,EPMD,KRS1,KRAFTWERK and THE SOUL SONIC FORCE
After listening to these artists Chef grew up a Uk B-BOY fat laces,ghetto blaster ,lino and a new love for beatz.
1989 the year Acid house took over listening to pirate stations - Centerforce 88.2FM - Fantasy fm
1991 Chef would spend all of his money on records from 2 East London dance music shops one Being the legendary DE UNDERGOUND records in FOREST GATE East London who had a massive following due to a local DJ who went by the name of RANDALL who used to seamlessly mix tune after tune in the shop. Other important names to come from this camp were COOL HAND FLEX, MARLEY MARL, REDANT, ARCHIE, BUD, UNCLE 22,and MC FATS as well as many new and up and coming producers at that time included SWIFT & ZINC, LENNY D ICE, HYPE, SWAN-E, ELLIS D, GOLDIE, ASIDES, HYPE,REINFORCED CREW they all used to pass through the shop.
The other Shop was MUSIC POWER IN ILFORD run by a great team (Nick Power, Lloyd Anthony, Dean and Scott Savonne and H who sold all types of music.
Also not forgetting BOOGIE TIMES ROMFORD Big up Dan, Winston Runtings and Emtek for supporting the scene.
Big up Section 5 on the Kings road Owned by the Legend of moving shadow Rob Playford...Big up Sandman and the gang.
1994 sees Chef start a Diploma in music technology where Local hero’s Marley marl & Redant where already studying, another young Dj called Hector G from Hastings was on the course and offered Chef a residency at a club called Deep Cover on Hastings Pier this is where Chef played along his London heroes such as RANDALL, HYPE, SHY FX, MICKEY FINN, KENNY KEN, ANDY C. Chef held the residency for 3 years until the pier was shut down.
During those years Chef played with DJ & MC Duo Sly and Shaydee. on various pirate stations across the London FM dial from Girls Fm, Rude FM, Addiction, Rude Awakening, Playaz FM Big up the original ELC crew.

Chef and Bud have brought up many of the industry’s players: RAY KEITH - ASIDES - PATIFE - CLEVELAND WATKISS - MC SINGING FATS - MC AD - MC FLUX – HEIST - HLZ - EPOC LIVE - SIGMA (DJ WOOZ) - CRAGGS AND PARALLEL - VAPOUR & JEMONE - REDEYES - MORE ARTISTS WILL FOLLOW WATCH THIS SPACE.....
In 2007 Chef set up Caution Recordings he decided to create a label where good music no matter what style of DnB would be put out. With support from a new breed of producers The First was Danny Anger From Don’t Hate Participate Records Then Serious Intent & Certain Criteria from The East London Collective Mac 2 Recordings & Formula Music, Chef then found a new Italian producer called Hellraizer HLZ whos Tech style instantly forced chef to sign him up to the label. Chef has since signed 12†from Pacso & Smokster Watch out the Caution Label.(WATCH UR NECK)

2007 Mc Rage calls Chef to be involved with a brand new band THE INNERCITY DWELLERS CARTEL who are set to blow the UK music scene apart with a mix of music that screams the sound of the UK. WATCH THIS SPACE YOU KNOW WHERE YOU HEARD IT FIRST.
