Sounds Like: ..."VIVIDLY textured, warmly melodic music, often with a cinematic quality, is the hallmark of Edinburgh guitarist Haftor Medbøe's current quartet, featuring guest bassist Eva Malling from Copenhagen”…..”.Tonal character came from quirky elements such as percussionist Signy Jakobsdottir's little xylophone tinkling along with the brass, or Malling's eloquent, mellow-toned bass running in tandem with Medbøe's guitar"...Jim Gilchrist, The Scotsman, Nov. 2, 2007
