haftor medbøe group are here to make the most beatiful music we possibly can for you. We're based in Scotland but all have our roots elsewhere in Scandinavia, Iceland, Poland and Australia. We've played in many places over the past few years and particularly enjoy the bizarre locations - lighthouses, barns and sheds - although the occasional concert hall is also very nice. Our first EP and album were released on our own label and the follow up was on Linn Records. The touring line up features the treasured Konrad Wiszniewski on tenor sax alongside the irreplaceable Signy and Chris.
The next album is ready. It's called NEW:HAPPY and features our very special guest bassist Eva Malling from Copenhagen. The 80 limited edition hand numbered pre-release copies sold out in a matter of weeks and the official release is planned for summer 2008.
