Currently working as the Arts Development Officer for Music with Falkirk Council. Prior to that I worked in marketing for the Edinburgh, Islay, Lockerbie and Dundee Jazz Festivals.
Puff Uproar and The Shimmering Sound Affairare Falkirk's very own street band. With harmonious, up-lifting, cacophonous brass and a rhythm section that will make your eye-balls rattle with bass-y goodness, the band aim to transport you from the colourful climes of the Sao Paulo carnival down through South Eastern Europe for complex, Klezmer, crashing and across to Russia for moody, melodious marching music that can’t fail to enrapture your mind and take control of your feet. They rehearse every Wednesday evening at Falkirk Old and St Modan’s Church between 7.30pm and 9.30pm. If you’re over the age of 16, have a sense of adventure and are interested in joining a raucous carnival band then get in touch.

Stirling and Falkirk Promoter's Network
A joint initiative between Falkirk Council and The Tolbooth (Stirling), the Promoter’s Network invites anyone from the Central Belt who promotes live music, or has an interest in doing so to attend monthly meetings. It’s an opportunity to cohesively programme live music across the central region.
