Hi and welcome :-) I am a singer, songwriter, arranger and producer and I have just released my new album - on May 4 2009! The songs are emotional images and musicpaintings..it is sensuous, organic, filmic, intimate, grandiose, poetic and magical – like watching flowers come out, stand in full blossom or wither. The album range from bigger full arrangements with grand strings to more simple productions where vocal and only a few instruments are in focus. The sources of inspiration for this album includes among others Rufus Wainwright, Joni Mitchell, Abbey Lincoln, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush and John Lennon. But, the biggest influence for me and inspiration for making this album, is my daughther. That she chose me to be her mother, is such a joy to me - I have never before felt such wonderful beautiful love! But, the album will also carry the colors of the darker and more complicated sides of love and life. The longings, the despair and the puzzles. I was lucky that the song, "I Swim Into The Water", gained quite some airplay on the National Danish Radio Broadcast, P4. It..s a swinging brazil/cuban inspired song. Among the musicians on the album are from New York, trumpetplayer Lew Soloff, who a.o. has played with Gil Evans Orchestra, Blood Sweat & Tears and Elvis Costello. He plays on the song called "December". The danish musicians are known from the established danish rock and jazzscene. I wrote all the music and lyrics and co-produced the album.
