Georgina's earliest memory of singing solo was in her primary school choir's rendition of “I want a hippopotamus for Christmas”! From such auspicious beginnings Georgina has progressed to bigger and better things.
Whilst classically trained in piano and vocal studies Georgina has a passion for the musical styles of Gospel and Jazz. Her self-titled debut EP “Georgina” (produced by Richard Herczeg, Byron Bay, Australia) is a spiritual journey of reflective ballads, gentle hymns and meditative worship songs
Georgina is an accomplished performer and has appeared in productions as diverse as Benjamin Britten's Opera “A Midsummer Night's Dream” (as a fairy!) to the leader of a Union in a pajama factory in the musical “The Pajama Game”.
Georgina has been a member for the past 10 years of a well known 8 voice Acapella group “Isabella A Cappella”, based in Lismore, Australia with whom she has toured Japan 5 times and New Zealand twice.
As a long time member of her local church “Centre Church, Lismore” Georgina has been encouraged in her singing and musical gifts. She has been a member of Centre Church's worship team as a keyboardist and worship leader.
Up until recently Georgina has been employed by Telstra and during 2004/2005 was selected to be a member of the Telstra company band. As a vocalist in the band she traveled and performed in some great venues, namely The Sydney Entertainment Centre, the beautiful Werribee Mansion and even traveled for the first time down to gorgeous Tasmania for some gigs!
Over the past 18 months Georgina has visited and ministered in many churches around Australia promoting her EP and looks forward to the future with expectancy!
