I'd like to meet:
Gosh...there are many I would love to meet, but the one I really had in mind was Rich Mullins. I'll have to wait for heaven for that. I guess he already knows how his music & story inspire me. I would love to see Tom Jones, Quincy Jones, Oprah Winfrey & Elton John; I really need to meet someone who could get me an audition to be a backup singer. (Now that would be a fulfilling job!)

My daughter is great to listen to, also I would love to hear my husband more often, and I can't believe my son doesn't seem to sing at all anymore. (He's fantastic!!!). I like listening to a variety of music, including blues, gospel, classic & Christian rock. There isn't much I don't like. My daughter didn't approve of my love of "It's Hard Out Here to be a Pimp", but who can help loving a great song? It did win an Oscar, after all. These days I've been listening to Toby Mac, David Crowder Band, Jars of Clay, Isreal Houghton, George Huff & Tamara Gray, along with some broadway tracks...Dreamgirls, Andrew LLoyd Webber collection. I also like Motown, classic rock, some current Top 40, hip hop & rap. I love to listen to Broadway cast & movie soundtrack albums (Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, Dreamgirls, Rent, Chicken Little). I like Elvis, Otis, Aretha, Whitney Houston, old school Jackson 5, Supremes, Temptations. I think Tom Jones is still HOT.
And I still have a school-girl crush on Donny Osmond & would sing every word of "Sweet & Innocent", "Puppy Love", or "Go Away Little Girl" with the mildest of encouragement.*************************

Obviously I love musicals...Rent, Dreamgirls, Connie & Carla, Flashdance. I also like action films --Bruce Lee, Diehard (all of them, can't wait for the next!), All the Rambo movies, Rocky (again, ALL), Indiana Jones (and yes, I can't wait for the new one!). I like comedies, romance. Old movies like Some Like It Hot, Odd Couple, Sean Connery as James Bond (okay, truthfully, all Bond movies). In general, I just like movies, almost any kind, unless they are really trashy or really stupid. (You won't find me collecting any Jack Ass flicks). I love it when the underdog prevails!

Anna Karina, Cry the Beloved Country, The Tipping Point. Romantic Fiction, Inspirational, Biographies, History. I liked the "Left Behind" series. I like almost anything written by Randy Alcorn or Frank Peretti, especially "This Present Darkness"
Heroes:
Jesus, Doug, who found me when me heart was too broken to be fixed and loved me anyway, My grandma, Frieda Drinkwine, who passed away several years ago. She helped shape my spiritual beliefs because of her commitment to me. Also, my parents, Dale & Lola Hart. A boyfriend I once had in college who at one time made me believe I was worth believing in, my many friends & family members who continue to lift me up, pray for me, inspire me & in general, make me feel that they are proud to know me. And sometimes, me. When I'm struggling, I think back to moments when I triumphed, and find that I can sometimes be my own hero...because I am not someone who claims to do it alone. I know I need God, and all those He has placed in my life to help me make it thru. That seems to be the sign of a true hero. Anyone who also has a story like that inspires me. Life is hard, and often mine has often been one of loss. Figuring out how to shine & find joy in the midst of that is obviously heroic.*******************************People willing to fight against the depravity of porn in our culture!****************************************************
