About Me



The Drowsy Chaperone swoops onto the Great White Way full of life, energy, laughter, singing, dancing, champagne, monkeys and 5 2006 Tony awards, and not necessarily in that order.

It all begins with a die-hard musical-theatre fan plays his favorite cast album on his turntable, and the musical literally bursts to life in his living room, telling the rambunctious tale of a Broadway starlet trying to find, and keep, her true love.

The Drowsy Chaperone successfully ran on Broadway at
the Marquis Theatre on May 1, 2006 thru Decemeber 30, 2007. It also played London's West End from June 6, 2007 thru August 4, 2007 at the Novello Theatre.
