We love everyone and we totally understand people or bands that do not want to be known as or be promoted as a “Christian Rock” band. I support your decisions whatever they are and hope the best for you as I do everyone always. It’s important to me that you know that I love you and support your decisions as I also care enough to hope and pray that your decisions and actions are good ones. I know personally of the allure of “Rock Music” and we all know it is powerful. Music is a true power that people react to and those people respond to music in a positive or negative way, or you could also say Holy or evil ways. I hope to be able to help that Christian rock musician that has made a commitment to peaceably share Jesus Christ with others when the Lord allows the opportunities. I’m not offended by anyone else disagreeing with me and I do not have the time or money to insult people or talk bad about bands. I obviously believe in being forthright with people as our responsibility towards others needs to make important decisions as I also encourage that from others with love and acceptance.
We are far more interested in promoting the bands that glorify the Lord in word and deed than the bands that straddle the fence in the name of reaching the lost. I personally believe that you reach more lost people by exalting God in word and deed than you do otherwise. John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

We are to glorify God so that people know there is a difference. When I got saved in February of 1990, I was drawn away from sin and to the goodness of God. Im glad there are peculiar people that are not the same as unregenerate sinners. Dont get me wrong I know that there are people that are so pious that it detours people from God. I hold dearly to this verse on the subject: Philippians 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Our desire is for this magazine to be a ministry that glorifies God without being either pious or weak.

The focus of ChristianRockReport.com is to straight up exalt Jesus Christ as Lord. We are going to give more props to the bands that glorify God also. There are plenty of organizations and “churches” encouraging Christian Rock bands to go the other route. We figure that we some more that encourage them to exalt Jesus Christ as King of kings! As a music magazine the emphasize is on promoting local Dallas Fort Worth, Texas bands and national bands that have new CD’s out and are playing in concert in the Dallas Fort Worth, Texas area. From there we truly want the magazine to also promote unsigned Christian Rock bands around the country/ world. Any other bands that have true musical TALENT, and exalt Christ as Lord, we would like to know about.

Our standard is no pornography or ungodliness, on our friend’s myspace. Especially on the comments! If anyone posts pornography or ungodliness on our comments they would be kindly excused from the friends with encouragement to clean up their sites. We have explained this to and will continue to explain this to all bands. ChristianRockReport.com cannot be responsible for directly linking our readers to pornography or ungodliness. 90% percent of all people checking out myspace.com are children under the age of consent and we cannot be responsible for facilitating children to pornography and ungodliness. We are not trying to force anyone to run their myspace site any particular way. We only hope to encourage you by strictly enforcing a standard of Godliness in EVERYTHING that we do. ChristianRockReport.com checks every requested friend site, before we approve them. If we do not have “Time” to check the requested friend site, we do not approve them.

Furthermore Congress and the Senate have been trying to regulate the internet since its conception. myspace.com has given the government its strongest foothold yet to regulate the internet. If we do not police ourselves, the government will be more than happy to take our birthright away and police the internet for us.

Lastly: For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. At the very least you are guilty by association if you allow friends with pornography, sexy chicks or deviltry on your myspace. God is the ONLY being who truly 100% cares about our well being and has our best interest in mind. His ordinances are meant to guide and protect us and, without them He would be a mean God. He loves us enough to tell us what is right and what is wrong and then expects us to have the wherewithal to chose right over wrong. I’m begging you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord to guard and protect this gift that God has given us by policing/ or governing your myspace.com site.

90% of all the people that utilize myspace.com sites are teenaged children. For the sake of them would you consider cleaning up your myspace site. We have to set a good example for others to follow. Like it or not you are setting an example whether you intend to or not. As a Christian our first desire is to see the lost come to know Jesus Christ as their Saviour and to make disciples of men. We come up with all kinds of creative ways to reach the lost. Most of those ways are just simply misleading. Hey, satan is a very tricky deceiver. We want to encourage you in the simple ways of Christ. Jesus said “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” John 12:32. All we are supposed to do is exalt Jesus Christ as God and he does the rest through us as willing stewards.
