Slaves Wage

You can get up. There is a Hope...Jesus Christ.

About Me

SLAVES WAGE is a four piece band located in Arlington, TX. Their four song, self-titled, debut CD was released in March 2007. James Johnson, David Blair, Brent McKnight and Jeff Saenz are Christians and their love for all things heavy and their Lord prove to be a match made in heaven. Their hope and prayer is that these songs will in some way help all who listen find the answers to their questions, the solutions to their problems, peace for a troubled mind and a relationship with the God who so loved us that He gave His only born Son, Jesus Christ, that we might experience what life was really intended to be (JOHN 3:16 ; JOHN 10:10)! God bless you all and stay tuned for more from SLAVES WAGE!
CAUTION: All of our Friends are wonderful people and we are glad to have them as Friends (GENESIS 1:27 , PSALM 139:14 , JAMES 3:8-10)! However, there may be material on some of their profile pages which may be offensive to some. Please use your discretion when it comes to your viewing choices (1TIMOTHY 5:22 , EPHESIANS 5:1-4)! God bless you!

Influences: James Johnson's influences are: Kiss, Eddie Van Halen, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Yngwie Malmsteen, George Lynch, Randy Rhoads, Steve Vai, John Petrucci, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Dimebag Darrell, Zakk Wylde

David Blair's influences are: Jesus Christ first and foremost. He has totally changed my life in the way I live today compared to the way I used to live before I accepted him as my Lord & Savior.

My father Dr.F.L. Blair. Who loved me & accepted me as I am. Even though I was not his true born son. He taught me to be humble, not arrogant and to treat everyone with respect & dignity regardless of race, creed or color.Your passing has been over 20 years now dad, but we will be together again in Heaven. I miss you.

Brent McKnight's influences are: I owe everything I am and ever will be to the Lord Jesus Christ. When I was at my lowest point in my life, when I thought all hope was lost, He was there to meet me right where I was at. Coming face to face with Jah brought me to my knees with repentence in my heart. And on that floor He forgave me, opened up my eyes to His glory, gave me the Spirit of the Lord Jesus in my heart and sealed me for all eternity. There was nothing I did to deserve this precious gift. I didn't work for it. All I could do was accept what God had already done 2000 years ago through Jesus Christ.
