Influences: Bartok, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Stravinsky (okay, so I'm really into the Eastern Bloc composers), Mahler, Brahms, Dvorak, Mendelssohn, Sarasate, St. Saens, Debussy, Ravel, Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, Beethoven, Duran Duran (no, I'm not kidding!), XTC, Tool, Helmet, nine inch nails, ABBA, The Jam, The Cramps, Gary Numan, The Furors, Jesus & Mary Chain, Journey (again, no, I'm not kidding!), Led Zeppelin, Let's Active, REM, Salem 66, Dumptruck, Tears for Fears, Arthur Lee & Love, Los Lobos, Lush, Madness, Pat Benatar, Heart (well, anything BEFORE 1984), Pink Floyd (I know, I'm getting predictable with this list), The Pretenders (first album), Radiohead, Regina Carter, The Who (Quadrophenia), Seal, Sex Pistols, The Smiths, Sonic Youth (okay, I'm obviously now just going down my list of songs alphabetically on my iTunes), Stephane Grapelli, T. Sounds Like: Viktoria Mullova meets Nadja Salerno Sonnenberg meets Itzhak Perlman. (Correction: IN MY DREAMS!!! In reality, I play in tune, I stay in tempo, and my vibrato is tasteful. hee! :D)
