To country music fans one of the highlights of ABC's 2007 smash hit "The Next Best Thing" was Buck McCoy. 10 million television viewers chose Buck McCoy as the Next Best Thing. This California native is a dyed-in-the-wool country singer whose electrifying vocals have won him the hearts of fans from coast to coast.Buck's Hollywood career didn't start there. In 2004 he also appeared on FOX's "Performing As" showing his music talent to 8 million people. Buck has also had appearances on the "Days of our Lives" and "Santa Barbara" daytime television series.It was no surprise when Buck decided to pack it up and move to Nashville to persue his true calling. To be a country music super-star! Once in Nashville, Buck assembled a team of world class musicians and recorded his debut album "Top Dog". The first single released from this album "A Few Steps Away" immediately began to chart on regional and national charts. The second release "Got It All With You" went straight to number 1 on the STS Tracking system where it stayed there for 3 consecutive weeks. Then the song "What Might Have Been" was selected by director Michael Damian (Young and the Restless) to be in his Disney movie release "Moondance Alexander" starring Don Johnson and Heather Laughlin. The sound track is currently the record company's biggest release yet.With all the attention Buck's music and show is receiving, he decided to put it on the road and give it to his fans.
