I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Record Promoter, producer, composer and artist manager with some amazing projects in the works. My National Record Promotion company helps new bands and recording artists get radio airplay. You can read more about that at www.larryweir.com. I am also co-editor of New Music Weekly magazine that is fast becoming one of the best weekly music trade magazines on the planet. Check out www.newmusicweekly.com for more on this. As a writer/producer I am adapting "Teen Witch"The Musical" as a soundtrack and "Broadway bound" full scale musical. There will also be a reality based television show attached to the project entitled "Road To Broadway". Still casting and will be letting you know about the up and coming events. Also producing and managing a series of new recording artists and I'm always on the lookout for new talent.

My Interests

Music, music, music. Writing and speaking at music school events about the history of radio and record promotion.

I'd like to meet:

Bands, recording artists, and independent record labels that are in need of radio airplay! New singers and actors that have talent for new rock style musicals. Also would like to meet young singers that can handle pop/alt music and I'm also looking for future Country artists as well. All of which need to be able to work hard in the recording studio, and then get set to "hit the road".

Music:

Big fan of the great pop composers of our generation from Bacharach, Webb McCartney to John Williams.

Movies:

Love comedies from "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" (not sure how many mad's are actually in the title" to "Liar, Liar". Love films about music people ala "Ray", "Walk The Line" etc...

Television:

Love to hate reality television, but sadly...I'm hooked!

Books:

Books about music (hey, my name is actually in the Billboard book of ..1 Hits for producing "Rock On" in 1989 sung by little brother Michael Damian) and musical theatre. Currently reading "From Option To opening" (A guide to producing plays) by Donald Farber.

Heroes:

Superman, to real life heroes like the men and women in our military that serve here, and around the world!
