About Me

The sibling indie pop/rock duo kMw is the safety net band for young people with no voice and nowhere else to turn, expressing in their distinct style the message aimed towards older teens but relatable to people of all ages.. The musical stylings of Katie and Willy McKenna are the intelligent voice for teen-somethings who desire more out of their music than what they are currently getting from mainstream pop. Addressing typical issues for this age group on an an emotionally literate level currently unseen in music machine pop, kMw is using their life experience and training in the arts to spread their positive message and push their statement.
