OK, as of Oct 16, finally a few new ones to listen to: home demos from 1983 and 1985, all done with two cassette recorders, bouncing back and forth between them. Low tech! The Bubbler was a solo live performance on Korg Poly 61, the end dying notes are to me the best part. Then from 2002 comes a Mello Cads track. Singer David Ponak wanted me to try for MacArthur Park territory on the middle. Me on all but piano, sax, drums. //I have written for Children's TV Workshop and Five Alarm Music, scored a handful of documentaries, toured some of the planet with Brian Wilson, Arthur Lee and Love, Eels, etc etc, shared the stage with luminaries (usually on upper brass or guitar), taught legions of students, been in the Groundlings house band, ran Valentunes (a musical valentine business), gotten some wall plaques for units sold, been camp director at Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music, made off with bagels from more TV show green rooms than I care to admit. What I learned from all this: music is a healing force -- listen to it, make it and share it at every opportunity.
