Influences: Gram Parsons, of course and a little Waylon and some Catheads, Textones, John Anderson, Glen Campbell, Old 97's, Jon Wayne, Porter Waggoner. Hell, just about everybody.
Sounds Like: Smooth, easy and pensive all at once. Creepy, self-indulgent back-slapping true crime country. Feels like 11 p.m. on day three of a tequila bender sans the citrus bloat and poxy face misery. Massaged country for the fattening of the non-working class. Easy going, reflective American individualism wrapped in a cotton candy cowboy pie.
