Actress turned author, Victoria Rowell, was inducted into the Who's Who in Black Media directory June 1st as about 200 people looked ..ell read excerpts from her book, "The Women Who Raised Me," took questions and discussed her life after the Young & the Restless during the one hour ceremony held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. The event was part of the African American Book Pavilion and was sponsored by NAPS: North American Precis Syndicate."I was so excited for her," said DC Livers, managing editor for the Historical Black Press Foundation. "Victoria has been writing scripts on the set of Y&R for nearly 15 years, plus she's an incredible photojournalist and an amazing writer. She deserves to be the first author to be inducted into the Who's Who in Black Media directory."
And what stellar induction would go without an off the hook VIP afterparty? -- "skintense!!" (Sorry . . . I couldn't resist. LOL!)
