I'd like to meet:

Anyone who loves books, any kind of books. People who are working hard to make something of themselves or to make this a better world for others.

Movies:

Dont get out to movies as much as I'd like. It's always a toss between seeing something for grownups and something for the kids, so we all end up with videos.

Television:

For some reason I'm into the reality t.v. shows and CNN these days, but that could change anytime knowing me. Lately I'm also into Grey's Anatomy and Ugly Betty. They're fresh (new, different), have diverse casts and are well acted. I also like Run's House. This family is livin' large but still hasn't lost sight of the values that are really important.

Books:

Heroes:

My parents most of all, Nelson Mandela, Dr. King, Malcolm X, Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Marian Wright Edelman, Johnnetta Cole, Nikki Giovanni, Ruby Dee, Barack Obama, Bono. Strange combination but some of these people are changing the motherland for the better, or really trying to, and I admire that. They also help out here in the U.S., although it's never enough.
