Vincent, I just wanted to say that I finished your book in one day. It was not only eye opening and enlightening but also a slap of reality as I read and realized that I had encountered most if not all of the stereotypical "dogs"!

I finished reading your book and I very much enjoyed it. There was a guy that I used to date and even though our relationship was not an intimate one, I believe that he fits the description of the “goal setting dog”, and my heart goes out to his victims. I think the characters that saddened me the most were Jill and Wesley, “the mentally addicted dog”, that is a very true lifestyle for some people and a very sad way to live. Anyway keep allowing God to use you and please add me to your e-mail list so that I can know when the sequel comes out.

Secondly, I'd like to thank you for sharing your gift of not only writing, but the gift of expression with the rest of the world. I think it's courageous to speak from a man's perspective on a topic that could be deemed controversial to your male readers.
I could really go on and on about this book. You covered a nice spectrum of "Dogs". So, I couldn't think of any that I'd like to add! However, if I keep living long enough, I may discover a new breed in passing! And hopefully, ONLY in passing! I pray that you have so much success with this venture.
Again, thank you for sharing, and my prayer is that you continue to reach the hearts, souls and minds of every reader who picks up a copy (male and female)!

This is a note to say that reading your book was very informative, and enjoyable. Unfortunately, having lived through most of the personalities you've written about in your book in one man for most of my life, you failed to name the most dangerous "Dog" of all:
“The Mixed Breed Dog”
This is the dog who has several personalities from the different "genes" he's born with from the mixing of mates over the years which causes him to be "extremely dysfunctional", with the ability to "hide" it from females until he has them mentally & physically under his control. The personalities of the other dogs appear as needed depending on his situation with a female. It's like living with several men in one, and it's really hard to pick up on it until it's late in the relationship.

There is one Dog that you failed to mention and that is the "Married Dog!" Not the typical "I'm not happy at home" or "We are not getting along right now"....No, you forgot the Man that dates several women at one time and marries one of them (without telling the others) and still wants to continue his relationship with the others. This is the craziest sh--- I've ever heard of!
I used to think that when people went outside their marriages something was wrong at home but HELL NO! It's just some sick a-- people out here who have no Godly principles whatsoever!!
And the women that go along with it make it HARD for sisters who demand a man to be a real man based on what the word of GOD says.

I started reading the book and all I can say is WOW!!!! and Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!! Although, I haven't been in a relationship with anyone for almost 2 1/2 years Praise the Name of JESUS!! Now I have the book for reference. For me personally, It's kinda like TAKING the Drs. I am so excited to write about my book club meeting that was held on Saturday, January 20, 2007. We had the opportunity to meet and discuss Vincent's book with him in person. Oh my goodness, how often do people actually get to sit and meet with an Author of a book? I tell you that reading this book was an eye opener to a lot of what relationships are truly like and what they can be like if you run across the wrong person whether male or female. So I want to thank Vincent again for coming and sharing with a group of women some over due education on relationships. Good luck, and I am waiting to see what the next book will be like.

Vincent, I am so glad you were able to come to our book club meeting. You helped to give a lot of insight on the dating game and marriage and I appreciate that, so that I can make my marriage stronger and not open doors for that outside person. This is an excellent book and I think everyone who is from age 21 and up should read it. I believe it will help and maybe save someone from heartache. Go get the book. Vincent, I want to say thank you so much for attending our book-club meeting. It was such a wonderful and exciting time. It’s rare that you get to sit down with an author and discuss his book. Discussing chapter by chapter made it really come alive. Keep up the good work. MAY YOU HAVE ALL THE SUCCESS THAT YOU CAN STAND. By the way, add the COWARD DOG to your list. The COWARD DOG is the man that dates you for weeks and even months, then all of sudden he stops taking you out, he stops calling, and he won’t return your phone calls. He’s moved on but he’s too much of a coward to tell you. So you’re left wondering happened, and you never get closure.

THE "PER SE" DOG
This type of dog does not have a definite answer for anything that you might ask him. He will say things like.... I don't really have a relationship per se.... or I'm not really single per se..... but, he is always trying to find out where you live and what relationships you have and what things you might possess. This type of dog will blurt out something when you least expect him to and then assumes you want to talk about him, but fails to realize that you have since moved on and couldn’t care less and he assumes that he is the most important thing in your life.
