I created UrbanWritten as a place for writers, thinkers, lovers, and poets to exchange ideas. This site has been a labor of love & the result of years of thinking, reading, and writing. I've often wished that there was a place where I could make my ideas heard, but I never found an appropriate one. UrbanWritten is my way of reaching out to people around the world and giving them a chance to interact with other creative people. My goal is to make UrbanWritten the premier poetry sharing site on the internet. I'd be very happy if people could come away from UrbanWritten feeling like they've gained something valuable.I currently reside in Brooklyn, but I never forget my childhood. I grew up on Long Island where I attended Bayshore High School. Although I went to Devry University and studied Network Technology, my true love has always been expressing my creativity. I spend my free time reading, writing and staying current on fashion trends. I'm a passionate person and I'm not afraid to pursue my dreams, but I always remember to save time to hang out with the people I love.What? Still want to hear more about me! Alright, in my free time you can catch me watching my favorite TV shows like 24, Big Love, CSI Miami, Dexter, Prison Break, Smallville, Jericho, The Black Donelly's, and Weeds, or just listening to some music. I love to listen to Snake Hollywood, Jamie Foxx, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Tyrese, Justin Timberlake and Fantasia just to name a few. If you want to go out on the town, beware, I have a weakness for shoes! I just can't get enough of them. I might end up making you buy me some. And if we're going out for a bite to eat afterwards, I'll steer clear of tuna fish, peanut butter, and any kind of peas.
