Dave Jensen - Horror Writer

Hello and welcome. For those of you that don’t know me, I am Dave Jensen. I have been writing for about 10 years. I’ve had several short stories published and I'll eventually get a novel published. I was born and raised in Orlando, FL, and I’m looking forward to moving north sooner or later. My love for horror started when I was 3 years old with Disney’s book The Haunted Mansion. I had it memorized in no time by listening to the 45 that came with it. That's right, I said 45 (it’s a type of record). By the time I was 8 I had started trying my hand at writing. Then, in the eighties, I got side tracked and wanted to be a heavy metal guitarist. It took quite awhile for me to figure out that I wasn’t going to make it in rock & roll. By then I had a “real” job and a mortgage. I figured I was doomed to a boring ass life. That’s when I met the woman of my dreams. We were married in less than a year. She’s the one that got me thinking about writing again, and she’s helped me out the whole way (thanks babe). Well, now you know a little bit about me.
