Thana Harris developed as a singer while living in Los Angeles in the 1980's with husband and Frank Zappa band member Bob Harris. Thana recorded with Zappa as well as world-renowned rock guitarist Steve Vai. These influences resulted in an autobiography titled "Under the Same Moon: My life with Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, Bob Harris, and a community of other artistic souls," puplished in 1999. Her book was followed by a solo debut album, "Thanatopsis." The album, produced by Bob Harris, offers listeners an aural feast of evocative vocals, high caliber musicianship, and pristine production.
