Easy and the Sun is the follow up to The Exploders critically acclaimed debut album. Recorded in Dallas Texas with Stuart Sikes (Modest Mouse, Cat Power, The Walkmen) and in Melbourne with Dave Parkin (Snowman, Jebediah, WAMI producer of the year) Easy and the Sun finds The Exploders entirely comfortable with delivering winners in any style that takes their fancy, but always with ingenious riffage and unapologetic devotion to the forgotten ancient art of stylish and witty guitar solos.
Easy and the Sun shows The Exploders have made a huge progression since their old Lake Bolac shearer’s quarters debut recording, using a couple hundred bucks worth of equipment and sporting one tattered lounge and a few broken windows.
With a national tour set for August, international dates to support the release of their debut album in the US and further national touring before taking in the Summer Festivals, The Exploders are one of the acts to watch in 2007.
