I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a versatile, free spirited 45 year old (who looks 24)with a pacemaker. I'm ,the real Bionic woman. I love good food, good music and good people. I only allow truly good people to get close to me and i still have the same friends from my childhood. Since retiring in 2000, i've made good use of my time. I golf, travel and get lots of sleep. I love to dream, its the greatest way to escape from reality. My partner, Ardine & I started Specialty Catering & Event Planning in 1990 and have had great success with it. We have branched out to ORLANDO so we are actively looking for party venues: galleries, restaurants, halls, car showrooms and of course nightclubs. I have 8 brothers and my sister Nita is my role model. She's such a lady!

My Interests

I'm an event planner whose worked for clients from NY, Chicago, LA, NC, FL,ATL, Houston and Cleveland. Some of those events include the 2006 NFL Media Party for SuperBowl XL and the NFL owners 2006 Tailgate Party, Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick,Craft services for a Showtime film and TV Pilot, an E. Lynn Harris book signing and events all over Southeast Michigan for many politicians, large Corporations and local celebrities.I LOVE SPORTS. I used to model, play basketball & tennis but since i've had a couple of heart surgeries i'm a SERIOUS golfer now. All my friends know where to find my ass during warm weather days in Michigan or in Orlando. The golf course is my office. I love to travel. The longest trip i've taken was to the biggest mall in the world in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. I'm passionate about cooking, fashion, entertaining, remodeling, drinking fine wine, talking shit and chillin with my friends and family.

I'd like to meet:

I came within 3ft of meeting Tiger Woods in Orlando in 2004. I'd like to meet Vanessa Williams for purely personal reasons! I'd like to golf with Tiger, plan a party with Oprah, ask Aaron McGruder, Jodie Foster and Charlize Theron some personal questions, chill with Jada, Alonzo Mourning and Common, cook with Michael Chiarello, shop with Carolina Herrera, drink with Samuel L. Jackson, Charles Barkley and Ellen Degeneres and cuss George Bush' ass out! "; I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!

Music:

I am a music fanatic and I manage the World-renowned DJ MINX among others on Women On Wax Recordings. Hit me @ www.deejones @womenonwax.com for booking info. During Detroit's Electronic Music Festival 2007, i booked 52 of the best of the best DJ's WORLDWIDE from...Switzerland, Germany, Mexico, Amsterdam, Toronto, Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, Ohio, Boston, Baltimore, Milwaukee, Los Angeles and of course several DETROIT House/Techno Legends. I especially love House and Jazz. I'm a true Househead. I will travel to hear some hot ass music. At least once a year i hit a Frankie Knuckles set in Chicago. BUT there is no better place for House (or parties period) than the annual Winter Music Conference on South Beach in March. C U There. I've also traveled to Cincinnati, Indiana, Cleveland,Atlanta, Los Angeles, Philly, NYC and New Jersey just to live my life through some good music.I started loving music during the motown era then i fell in love w/ jazz such as Donald Byrd, Lonnie Liston Smith, and then i heard Pharoah Saunders featuring Phyliss Hyman and i fell in love with music period. In middle and high school i evolved and added Rock & Roll. I listened to Santana, J.Giles Band, SuperTramp, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd as well as Parliament Funkadelic DISCO and Progressive Music (which is now called House). MY GODFATHER KEN COLLIER GOT ME HOOKED ON DANCE MUSIC. HE HAD US (his KIDS) CARRYING HIS RECORDS & RUSH TO PARTIES WHEN I WAS 14. I WAS A WITNESS TO THE BEGINNING OF THE HOUSE MUSIC CRAZE. I GAVE MY 1st HOUSE PARTY @ 15yrs old @ Studio 54 AND OF COURSE KEN COLLIER SPUN THE TUNES. When i lived on South Beach i picked up a feel for Raggae, Salsa and Island music. I just love all music Trapped In The Drive-Thru
