About Me

As the first swedish electropunk band Cosmic Overdose was created in 1978, by Dan Söderqvist and Karl Gasleben. They changed name into twice a man 1981, as they began to sing in english. They created their studio and independently released a number of recordings during the eightees. They toured in all north european countries. In 1986 they started composing music for theatreproductions and have since then worked in all artistic fields, such as; film, installations, computergames, danceperformances. They stopped touring 1994, although a few concerts and performances have been made. In a project to develope soundbased computergames, Tims Journey, twice a man met Johnny Friberg, who joined the band 2003.
On the 25th of january 2008, a new songalbum was released, Clouds, on the german label Yellow ltd in Hamburg. Clouds have no theme, but one can expect a journey through strange and beautiful landscapes.
On this years liveshow, Dan and Karl are alone on stage with projections playing the third part. They will play material from all there long history, with a focus on songs from the Clouds album and surely something new.
Twice a man latest work include both music and video, a commission for the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm. The play is Carl Jonas Love Almqvists "Drottningens Juvelsmycke" from 1834, directed by Staffan Roos. The opening night was 17th of may 2008.
