About Me

"Expansiva ljudlanskap ständigt omtolkade genom manifesterandet av flyktiga auditiva upplevelser, en sorts hägring vars verkan är både påtaglig och omedelbar." Hampus Petterson
They first met in a recordstore in the end of the eighties when Jörgen sold a record to Peter.
They then met again after a couple of months in a local piano shop and short after that they began working as a duo.
Improvisations such as "Intonarumori" (a 20 minutes long composition recorded in 1990 on a reel to reel tape recorder, exploring a more industrial vein, very close to some of early Klusters work) pointed out the direction where they musically stand today.
The music has changed many times throughout the years. Other musicians joined... and left...
In 1996 they formed the band Hadley (together with Bosse Ljungkrantz: Drums and Svante Sjöstedt: Guitar) that saw the birth of more rock and pop oriented songs. They also finished a 7 song demo that got a 4 star rating out of 5 in the local news paper Göteborgs Posten.
In the late 2002 they became a duo for the second time, and also changed their bandname to Exhadley. This time the follow up cd contained 14 instrumental, much more experimental compositions. From that time and now on they are exploring live electronics, building devices and playing live...

Sounds Like: Hard to describe..? It depends on the mood at the time we are creating the music/sounds. Sometimes it's instrumental, sometimes it's not. Sometimes the compositions have structure, sometimes they don't. It also depends on how we work from time to time.If we use computer or not. If we play everything live etc... But we are very interested in combining different techniques. Digital together with Analog... Computer together with (Reel to Reel) Tapes etc...A very much worn out cliché: "It's up to the listener to deside...or to categorize..."So listen to the tracks, and find out for yourself...
