About Me

Echodeck is very much an audiovisual, technical and organic experiment. With parts of improvisation, beats, melodies, and chosen sketches. We use both acoustic/analogue and high-tech instruments. To mix the warmth from harmonica, guitar, musical box and slides with modern sounds and pictures from samplers, computers etc. Together we build up an atmosphere and tell a story. A fragmentary story of sounds, drums, melodies, film and slides.

Echodeck in present form, got started during spring time 2006. BjÃ¶rn KlarstrÃ¶m and Pontus Torstensson come from outside of BollnÃ¤s, in a minor village in north of Sweden. Sara LÃ¤nnerstrÃ¶m comes from the fields outside Arboga. Nowadays we all live and thrive in Goteborg.

in the woods and by the water

echodeck has been in the woods and by the water outside of gothenburg today to shoot some film. we will hopefully make a short musicfilm eventually. check it out soon.
