**********************I often think and feel that, in fact! Jesus is a common factor for the monotheistic religions: all believe in his miracles. So let Jesus bring peace for all of us.No matter whether we believe in the return of Jesus or not, Jesus still believes in US, and in the power of human beings to bring peace to ourselves throughout the world. Can we rise to this challenge now?In a letter I wrote to Mr. Roger Waters, along with a copy to Messrs. Bono and Cat Stevens, I wrote: "Music can help us to rise to this challenge and to reach the final goal: global peace for all people everywhere, regardless of the color of their skin or their religion.My peace project is much more than just a "concert." It must also be a sit-in and a prayer vigil for a world peace pact between God and his children, with all of their different skin colors, languages and confessions."I asked of Mr. Roger Waters, and to all the other artists and singers who may be interested in this global peace project, to come to Algeria in northern Africa for two reasons:First, to re-perform his two masterpieces "The Wall" and "The Final Cut." They are now more topical than ever for peace throughout the world, and in my own martyred country, as well.Secondly, to begin preparations for a peace project, a mega-show featuring singers and other performers from throughout the world interested in bringing about peace and world love. A great Peace Live Aid, if you will, that will last as long as necessary until all wars in the world have stopped, and all nuclear and conventional bombs have been dismantled and destroyed. Better yet, to have ALL weapons banished!To rebuild a world without weapons is possible, I believe, and all we have to do is begin! If this organized peace project should succeed, I really think that a great step will have been accomplished, ushering in the return of Jesus, the son of Mary, to a the world he had dreamed of and taught about: his peaceful kingdom.Why Algeria? Is it the "promised Earth" Perhaps not, but I do have several reasons for choosing Algeria as the site of this peace project:In Algeria, there is a lovely place called The Hoggar, *famed for its prehistoric paintings, natural views and a picturesqe setting sun. It is a very large and quiet place, able to hold several million people comfortably. It would be a perfect place for our peace mega-show, allowing for plenty of music and dancing without disturbing anyone locally. the TOUAREG. In the 1960's, The Hoggar was under French colonialism occupation. The military forces exploded many nuclear test bombs in a neighbouring Algerian state called Reggan. A crime against humanity was committed on theses poor, weaponless people used as guinea pigs, the Algerian Touareg. The French army had tied poor Algerian prisoners to pegs not far from the detonation site, including (according to certain versions) pregnant women, as well. Thousands of Touareg and others died, and are still suffering from various illnesses and diseases. To date, the French government has yet to take blame for their part in these atrocities. No compensations have, as of yet, been offered to the victims, and decontamination of the affected areas have not even been discussed, much less started. this nuclear danger is not confined to only this area. It is a world danger involving global climactic changes. Stronger storms now carry more contaminated sand from Algeria, and more contaminated water from Polynesia (another French nuclear testing zone, than ever before, and these now travel everywhere around the world. This is a noise-less nuclear war that, unfortunately, cannot be seen by the eyes. Please beware, because children everywhere in the world are in grave danger of *cancerous diseases*. This page is really dedicated to them, and is also a plea to all like-minded artists and singers to really think about doing something to help them.It is very urgent that we do something now!
